End of Summer approaches

It's been a very quick summer here in James Bay. Hard to believe that things will be winding down in many regards as people enter the fall grind. I have had the excellent fortune of participating in something called Project aMENd, which is a series of workshops for men who are interested in healing in the context of doing so with other men. Over the last couple of months, we made a couple of different things, a paddle and a hand drum, and paired their creation with teachings supplied by community leader who know the score. It has been a very productive time for me on a "spiritual" level almost moreso than on a creative level.
